Book Club : Sharp Objects

Happy Friday!

This past week, myself and Scarlett (From the Trendy Chick!) , discussed creating a book club for our blogs in the month of June! We both read Gone Girl and loved it, so deciding to read another one of her books was a no-brainer.
This book will definitely be out of my comfort zone, so it goes along with my May Resolution! There's no time like today!

The description from the back cover of the book is so captivating and I cannot wait to dive in and read! It isn't a long book (it's a little less than 300 pages!) and it should be a great and easy summer read.

Here is the description of Sharp Objects from Amazon:
Fresh from a brief stay at a psych hospital, reporter Camille Preaker faces a troubling assignment: she must return to her tiny hometown to cover the murders of two preteen girls. For years, Camille has hardly spoken to her neurotic, hypochondriac mother or to the half-sister she barely knows: a beautiful thirteen-year-old with an eerie grip on the town. Now, installed in her old bedroom in her family's Victorian mansion, Camille finds herself identifying with the young victims—a bit too strongly. Dogged by her own demons, she must unravel the psychological puzzle of her own past if she wants to get the story—and survive this homecoming.

Purchase the book : Amazon (Kindle and Print!) // Barnes and Noble // Goodreads (read reviews to see what other people think!)

Don't worry - if you haven't read Gone Girl or any of Gillian Fly's books, you won't be confused. There's no order and it isn't a series, so join right in with us!

We will be beginning the book Monday, and linking up at the end of the month to share our thoughts and reflect on the book! Look out this month for updates as to when that link-up will be.

I hope you'll join us!

xoxo
