You are Capable : Semester 2

With this long weekend and midterms over, the second semester has officially started. I've learned a lot about myself and how high school works throughout first semester, and I am excited to make changes to make second semester more successful and being better at managing time.

Stress Less // I have a major issue with stress. I stress out about some of the most minuscule things, as well as larger problems that "deserve" stress. I've learned how to manage my stress level over time, but it can still become such a problem to a point where I can't sleep or get my mind off of anything but school. This semester, I hope to continue working on my stress level and managing it the most effective way.

Give 110% in ALL CLASSES // It's Monday morning and I just don't care - so I'm not going to give 100% in that class, let alone 110%. It's a class I just don't like. I don't care about it.
This won't cut it anymore.
Throughout there rest of my education, I will be placed in classes I don't like with teachers I don't like. I will need to suck it up and continue giving 110% in that class, just like I would any other. This will be a reoccurring theme throughout high school and college, and there just won't be anything I can do about it.

Continue to... // In 1st semester, I felt very organized and put together - and I want to keep it that way.  I want to keep utilizing my agenda, 5 Subject Notebook (post to come), wall calendar, etc. Anything that helped me this semester will continue to help me in 2nd.

Don't Be Afraid to Ask. // I had trouble, in a couple of classes, asking for help when I really needed it. This semester I need to make sure to go in for help and ask for it, especially if my grade in that class isn't what I'm shooting for.

Make Quarterly Grade Goals // Lastly, I want to make a "Grade Goal" for the next 2 quarter and for Semester 2 for each class, so that I continue working at my best.

What are your goals for Second Semester?

Love, Sydney
